Now some info for all of our community!

There is a recycle bin outside of Station 53 if you have recyclable items, such as... newspapers, aluminum cans and plastic! Please put only recyclable items in the container, no trash! Thank you.

As some of you may know, we have now a 6/9 ISO fire insurance rating! this means lower insurance premiums for a lot of people in our community!

If you are within 1000 feet of a standard fire hydrant you can qualify for a reduced insurance insurance premium! All you need to do is check with your insurance company if you live close to a fire hydrant and they will check to see if you meet the requirements for a lower insurance rate.

And for those of you who do not presently have water service provided in your area, contact the East Central Baldwin Water Authority to see if they are going to be running any water mains in your area in the future and if so, get together with your neighbors and see about getting a fire hydrant in your area!

If you own a pond or a lake you can check with your insurance company and see about having installed a fire dept water draft connection in your pond or lake for emergency water supply in case of fire and this connection should help reduce your fire insurance premiums!
