NEWS 160 Fire Fighter TrainingThe Elsanor Fire and Rescue Dept. was invited to attend volunteer fire fighter 160 certification training classes being held at the Robertsdale Fire Department.Current uncertified Elsanor Fire Dept. members and members of other local fire depts., were advised of the a 160 FF1 certification class that is to be held at the Robertsdale Fire Department. Several members of the Elsanor Fire Dept. are going to attend this class in an effort to become a certified 160 Fire Fighter. This effort will be done with volunteers attending in their "free" time. This is the kind of dedication that volunteers give to support their community. I wish to thank Chief Gary Patrick of the Silverhill Fire Dept along with all of the other firefighter training personal who are making this training a major life safety concern for all involved. The extra knowledge we receive every time we train will benefit all of us when the time for emergency response comes. Training can save your life as well as someone else's.
