In the beginning of the 2007 year the Loxley Fire Department held a Fire Fighter 160 certification class. They had numerous attendees from throughout the county attend. Numerous Fire Fighters from the Elsanor Fire / Rescue Department attended these classes. They took their final exams in June and I am proud to say that everyone learned a great deal from this mighty fine course. Nearly all the attendees throughout the county who attended the class passed all the exams, and those that did not were so close to passing that they have up to a year to take the exam again. I wish to say how proud of you I am that you volunteers gave up your free time to participate and learn from this experience and thus become a safer Fire Fighter who now comprehends some of the duties that are required of volunteer Fire Fighters! Once again I say thank you,
